Crazy route suggested

The app makes no sense! It sends me on a trip of almost 2000 miles instead of our usual route of 1250 miles. I know we can find some chargers on the usual way. I thought the app could help. As I added stops, trying to redirect the route, it added more distance in order to double back.

There is no need to go north of Lake Superior to get to Minnesota from northern Vermont. Use the upper peninsula of Michigan!
