    Hi

We have a post with this car https://abrp.featurebase.app/p/adding-jaecoo-j5-summit-ev-2026

If you have not specified that it’s an all electric car it could have been rejected because there is also a petrol car with that name.

Thanks, Linda. My attempts indicated EV. To confirm, the vehicle is: https://www.omodajaecoo.com.au/models/jaecoo-j5-bev

How long will it take for this vehicle to appear in the list for selection.

It only has 35 votes so it will take some time. You can add your own car in the meantime.

While we're working on adding more public models to ABRP, you don't have to wait to get started. We've just released a new vehicle modeling tool in the ABRP beta that lets you create your own custom model.

You can create and edit custom models on the web here (log in with your regular ABRP account):

        https://abetterrouteplanner.com/home/app/vehicles ↗

If you're not already on the beta app, you'll find instructions for how to join on each platform here:

        https://abrp.featurebase.app/help/articles/7281877-installing-the-abrp-beta-version ↗

Once you've created a vehicle model, you'll find it at the top of the vehicle list in ABRP under "Custom vehicles".

Quick way to get started from inside ABRP:

        1. Open ABRP and click Add vehicle on the vehicle card (or click the down arrow next to your current vehicle, then choose Add new vehicle).

        2. Scroll to the bottom of the vehicle list and click “Missing vehicle model?”.

        3. Click "Create custom vehicle".

        4. Pick a similar model and edit it, or start from scratch, then save. After you save, ABRP will automatically select your new custom vehicle.

We really welcome any feedback you have on this beta feature, it will help us improve both the custom modeling tool and future public models.
