I recently bought one of these “KONNWEI ELM327 V1.5 Auto Scanner Bluetooth 5.0 KW902”, probably same as you.
I can confirm it shows up as BLE device to ABRP but then it doesn’t work. I’ve had this issue with a couple dongles.
The only one that worked for me is the “Vgate iCar Pro elm327 V2.3”, on the BT4.0 version.

I was hopping to get some kind of minimal technical support/tooling from ABRP team to debug the issue on my own, and send the fix directly (at no cost from me to ABRP) but still awaiting for the reply :(

Hello, I was thinking if it could be a good opportunity to actually fix the issue (if possible ofc) once and for all.
I was planning to go on a roadtrip holiday next month, hence why I bought-it.
I'll be more than jappy to debug the issue on my own if you would be able to provide woth some kind of debuggable version of the app (won't share, pinky promise) so that I can try and debug the issue. I'm willing to help at no cost to you guys 😁
