ChargePlaceScotland - Alness Academy
Hi, a number of chargers in northern Scotland have started to migrate from ChargePlaceScotland to EZO, with work continuing for the next few weeks/months. The charger at 57.69730, -4.16778 used to be CPS and is now EZO, but both show on ABRP.
Note that there are also a number of chargers that ABRP is reporting as only on EZO, some that have gone missing but EZO are reporting as migrated, and some that are still on CPS but are also missing, as well as some that are still showing correctly as CPS.
This leading to some interesting route plans in the north of Scotland at the moment!

PinnedHi @John Platt,
I can see that we have this version from EZO, being reported as operational:
https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=818050251
While this old copy from ChargePlaceScotland is reported as broken/non-operational:
https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=160609510
Thus, we won’t direct people to the old one. Are there other ChargePlaceScotland locations that are still reported as operational, or simply don’t have a clear status?

Hi Katya, I didn’t know if you needed to remove the old CPS chargers where the same chargers are being reported as working under EZO and broken under CPS which is similar for Dingwall County Buildings (
57.59645, -4.43272) given that a larger number of other CPS chargers that ABRP was reporting as broken had disappeared when I reported this.
However, Inchvannie Court Car Park Dingwall (57.59441, -4.42826) has Rapid chargers which were CPS and now are being reported by EZO but do not show up at all with ABRP.
Some of the missing CPS chargers that had gone missing are now back and are reported as available apart from this one https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=2027301107 which is being reported as unavailable by ABRP but available by CPS and other charge point aggregators.

They should be removed or “de-duplicated” eventually given this information. Either as we stop receiving the “old” copies or because the information changes.
But the broken/non-operational status is a good first step.
I’ve separated reports for:
EZO - Inchvannie Court Car Park, Dingwall
ChargePlaceScotland - Poolewe
And added a ticket for the monitoring of this migration:
