Can we choose bmw ix1 instead unavailable mini countyman E U25?

My car Mini countryman 2025 Electric is not available for OBD. Bmw ix1 is almost the same car, when i choose it, i can connect to obd in my apple carplay. Would this cause an issue in a long trip?

      until live data access for mini countryman, what about using bmw ix1 as a work around? thx

        You can use it but it might not give you a correct plan since it’s another car.
