My 2024 BMW i5 was able to connect via enode. It has been replaced with a 2026 model, and now enode is not an option that I see. Am I missing a setting, or did it go away? Will it return?
BMW is no longer supported by Enode. We sent out an email in the fall to all users with a BMW. “BMW Group has introduced new commercial terms and access restrictions for accessing vehicle data via their API. Unfortunately, the restrictions basically mean that we would get no useful EV data from your vehicle, so we have no choice but to turn off live data via Enode for BMW. As a result, from November 14th, BMW and MINI connectivity via Enode in ABRP will no longer be available. No action is needed on your side.If you’re disappointed by this change, you can share feedback directly with BMW. Hearing from drivers helps highlight how important fair, open access to vehicle data is for enabling smart and sustainable energy services.We thoroughly understand the value of live data in ABRP and we are always on the lookout for new solutions to allow our users to connect their vehicles. As of now, the recommended method to connect BMW live data to ABRP is via OBD.”
