and the phone Pixel 8, switching from Pixel 6 where ABRP worked fine for years.
It finally worked with my new phone, and looks like the trick was to make sure Veepak is NOT showing as Connected in the phone’s Bluetooth menu, as it did to me after fresh pairing.
So additional troubleshooting step would be to turn off/on Bluetooth after pairing, and make sure dongle is only shown as Saved THEN try connecting inside ABRP!

Interesting. We have had multiple users reporting difficulties attempting to link using a Veepeak device.

dongle is Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ OBD II
