I haven’t used ABRP in weeks yet it is using so much background data that it accounted for 7% of my battery drain today (about 3h and 13min of activity). It would be very helpful to reduce this.
If you’re referring to your phone’s battery, this is not something we’re seeing.
Did you by any chance leave the app without exiting driving mode / navigation?

Yes I am referring to my phone battery. I did not leave the app running any sort of navigation.

Ok. You can check if uninstalling and then making a fresh install of the app makes a difference for you.

Yes I already uninstalled. For the sake of preserving my battery I’ve held off on reinstalling and likely won’t do so until my next road trip (likely several months away). I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of this background activity occurring when not navigating.
