Apple Music fails to resume after ABRP voice guidance

I first tried ABRP about a year ago (don’t recall which version) but stopped my Premium subscription because of a specific iOS/CarPlay problem.

When Apple Music was playing, ABRP voice navigation correctly interrupted/muted the music while giving a navigation instruction. The problem was that after the voice instruction finished, Apple Music did not automatically resume playing.

Has this specific problem been fixed in the current ABRP iOS/CarPlay version? I would like to take up a subscription again if it is fixed and want to by an OBD to go with it as well.

I am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max (currently iOS 26.5) with a Kia EV9 (all available OTAs applied) and Apple Music through CarPlay. I am in Australia. I don't want to resubscribe to Premium simply to test whether this problem has been fixed.

Are there any other known issues I should be aware of that would impact me in the latest version?
