alternative login methods - Google

Neither in the android app nor via web browser the [GOOGLE] button seems to have any effect. I tried multiple times since the alternative login methods has been deployed, but no success so far. I do not get any response if it worked or not, nor I see a ‘Sign in with Google’ prompt as mentioned in the wiki.

Yes, I read the wiki. Yes, I gave all possible permissions to the app.
