2026.75 Ford Explorer and Capri

Ford has replaced the batteries in the Explorer and Capri starting with model year 2026.75. The RWD model uses the 79 kWh battery, and the AWD model uses the 77 kWh battery.

Hello @Germar Lohoff,

When you say that they model year 2026.75 updates the batteries, do you mean that it is a completely new vehicle coming out that is named with .75 at the end or that there will be a software update allowing more kWh to existing 2026 Ford Explorer and Capri?

Hallo, zum Modelljahr 2026 hat Ford neue Akkugrößen eingeführt.
(Ford intern werden noch .25 oder .75 Abstufungen verwendet, aber für euch nicht relevant)
Keine Software Änderungen.
Modelljahr 2025 waren die Akkugrößen:
Standard Range 52 kWh, RWD
Exstanded Range 77 kWh, RWD
Exstanded Range 79 kWh, AWD
Modelljahr 2026:
Standard Range 58 kWh, RWD
Exstanded Range 79 kWh, RWD
Exstanded Range 77 kWh, AWD
Das gleiche gilt für den Capri.

  So from my understanding, the changes that are correct according to you is to change the battery capacities of the existing models. We do need to confirm that this means it will be for all of the 2026 models too before we can make the change, otherwise we have to add the 2026.75 model as a separate one.

  die Änderungen gelten für alle 2026 er Modelle.
  Du brauchst keine neue Rubrik 2026.75!!
  Für 2025 ist deine Zuordnung korrekt.
  Für 2026 so aber noch nicht!!
  Den 52 kWh Akku im Standard Range RWD gibt es ab Modelljahr 2026 nicht mehr!
  Dafür gibt es jetzt den 58 kWh Akku.
  Der Extanded Range RWD hat jetzt 79 kWh!!!
  Der Extanded Range AWD hat jetzt 77 kWh!!!
  Das heißt, RWD und AWD haben die Akkugrößen getauscht, wie ich auch schon geschrieben hatte.
  Das gleiche gilt für den Ford Capri.

  Do you have a website/link to a page showing the specifications of the 2026.75 models and where it says that they will replace the battery capacities for the current 2026 models? This will be needed in order to make changes.
