2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 LR AWD
Just took delivery of a 2025 Ioniq 5 LR, AWD ultimate. Cars currently being delivered in Canada no NOT have a NACS connector, and Hyundai Canada has not yet committed to providing a NACS to CCS1 adapter. Until last week or so, I was able to specify the presence of a CCS or NACS connector, but this now seems to default to NACS and I am being routed to Tesla Superchargers. Can you please restore the option to specify power connector for Canadians?

There is Tesla charger where non-Tesla cars can charge. Are you not able to charge there?

No. Canadian Ioniqs do not have come with the required adaptor which is why i asked for the return of the option to say you don’t have NACS

It’s CCS so you don’t need a NACS adapter. If you don’t want Tesla chargers anyway you need to change it in the settings under Avoid & prefer.

Thank you. I didn’t know you could choose to avoid certain networks. However, it would still be good to be able to specify that 2025 Ioniqs in Canada do not have NACS by default. The option was there until last week. I’m asking to have it put back.

You can select what kind of charger types you want in the settings under Type of chargers. If you don’t select NACS you will not get Tesla chargers where you need an adapter.
