2021 Smart EQ FORFOUR

I have Car Scanner with profile Smart ForFour EV (W 453 2017-2020) and Adapter OBDII ELM 327 Bluetooth LE (4.0): vLinker MC-IOS

This works fine for many PID (eg SOC and cell- and battery-voltages) but some are wrong, suggesting an encoding error in the profile:

PID / parameter

What made it suspect

HV battery current when consuming power

About 2,050 A, barely changing with loads. Switching the heating off increased the reported current by about 2 A.

When charging, both by cable, and by regenerative braking the reported current appears correct. So positive charging currents are ok but negative (discharging) currents are reported incorrectly.

HV battery temperature

Implausible readings suggesting incorrect decoding.

Battery state of health (SoH)

Reported 49%, then later 46%, so we could not treat this as a reliable measure of battery degradation.

I have tried to report this to Car Scanner, with no response.

Are you requesting a new vehicle model or reporting an issue with an existing one?

    Hello @ABRP User #595812,

Unfortunately we are not able to help with issues that occur in Car Scanner currently and you will have to get a reply form Car Scanner themselves. It is quite new to us aswell.
