OBD connection triggers safety warnings on dashboard on Vauxhall Combo Life

I'm having quite a significant issue with OBD live data.

I have just bought an OBDLink CX adapter and linked it using ABRP. I've updated the OBDLink to the latest firmware.

My vehicle is a Vauxhall Combo Life Electric 2024 (the same as the Opel Combo Life Electric / Citroen e-Berlingo / Peugeot e-Rifter).

ABRP gets the battery data, but the vehicle is showing error messages on the dashboard: e.g. "Collision Detection System not available", "Lane keeping Assist not available", and occasionally "ESP/ASR system fault: Repair needed". These only appeared after using the OBD adapter, and can appear within a few seconds of connecting to ABRP, or many minutes.

A couple of times the vehicle seemed to "reset" itself: flashing the headlights, and clicking of relays, and then resetting all the controls as if it had just been turned on. All my tests so far have been with the vehicle stationery, with the "ignition" turned on (traction battery enabled). But I'm reluctant to use the device while driving, given the symptoms.

I have tried a different OBDLink CX adapter, which gives the same errors.

I've tried connecting using other OBD apps. I've found I can provoke a similar (but not identical) error using the "Car Scanner" app. If I do a scan of "Diagnostic trouble codes", or "ECU identifier", then in each case when it gets to the ABS system, I get the same "Collision Detection System not available" error on the dashboard, every time.

So speculating, I'm wondering if the communications over OBD are interfering with the safety system from successfully communicating with one of the systems (e.g. ABS)?

I've had a look at the PIDs, and they seem to match what I've found in various forums. (I'm not an expert on OBD or PIDs).

Where does this happen?
