I'm planning an 8-9 day road trip in my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. I will subscribe to your Premium service soon. Some of the between charger legs on my trip are on the edge of the Bolt's realistic range, so accurate planning and options are critical. I just want to get through the trip with the least amount of charging hassle possible without lots of fussing with technology. I have a GM NACS DC Adapter so I can use Tesla Supercharger stations.
I've seen on Google searches that the 2023 Bolt EUV cannot send State of Charge (SoC) directly through the Android Auto wireless connection.
Do I need SoC for your ABRP Premium app to work correctly?
If so, Google then recommends using a Bluetooth ODB2 adapter. Specifically, they note that the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE is best for all-around use at $32. But they note that ABRP works best with ODBLink CX providing live, real-time data which is $80. Does the extra $50 provide features that I need for ABRP to work properly?
Then, how does all this stuff connect to ABRP?
Thanks,
